Dr. Abby Wade

Doctor of Chiropractic

Originally a Virginia native, Dr. Abby Wade’s chiropractic journey began when she was a competitive athlete in cross country, track, and pole vaulting. In order to maintain a competitive edge, chiropractic care was a staple of Dr. Abby’s training regiment. Through training and school, Dr. Abby’s affinity toward learning how the human body works and heals grew over the years leading her to pursue her undergraduate degree in Engineering Science in Nanomedical Engineering from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. While there, she also obtained minors in both Biomedical Engineering and Chemistry. While doing medical research in undergrad, Dr. Abby realized then that she loved the hands-on side of medicine, one that utilized a systematic approach to help it function optimally. This realization pushed her to attend Northeast College of Health Science where she obtained her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine, graduating with honors. Dr. Abby loves the natural approach that chiropractic medicine takes through structural correction, functional medicine, and a variety of chiropractic techniques. She strives to embody the elements of a doctor and a teacher for her community. When not at the clinic, you can find Dr. Abby and her husband on the trails hiking or running with their three dogs, playing board games, or at the local climbing gym.

After graduating from Sherman College in 2015, Dr. Kay opened ChiroCore+, LLC as a local chiropractic housecall service in the Fort Wayne area, later taking on an associateship at New Life Chiropractic Center with Dr. Joel Feeman, D.C. Dr. Kay joined The Well-Being Studio team in 2018, and in January 2020 consolidated her ChiroCore business to The Well-Being Studio’s current location. She pursued postgraduate training to become a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician so that she can better manage the athletes that come to her for care. While Dr. Kay greatly enjoys working with athletes, she also loves pregnancy, pediatric and geriatric chiropractic care. “One of the greatest joys of doing what I do is seeing people at all ages and from all walks of life. Each patient that walks into the office has a different story and different challenges. I’m always excited to see all the different puzzle pieces of patients coming together into this beautiful chiropractic family. I get to have an impact on generations of people. Even if I’m just a footnote in someone’s life story, I appreciate the role that I play.
